CharlieHR is a recent entrant to the market, having been founded in 2016 in the UK. It focuses in great part on two areas: reducing admin, and encouraging greater employee wellbeing through data.
CharlieHR allows managers to produce and send regular employee engagement surveys and, crucially, provides insights based on the results. The idea is that if you keep abreast of how your employees feel and what they want, and if you then act on that information, you’ll be able to build a happier and more engaged workforce. CharlieHR is designed to help you achieve this, both through feedback exercises and a pretty comprehensive suite of learning and development tools.
The platform also covers off most of the crucial bases you’d expect from HR software. Time and attendance tracking are included, along with onboarding tools. You can conduct performance reviews within the app, and generate all the key HR reports you’re likely to need.
If you run a shift-based business, however, CharlieHR may not be for you as it does not include any scheduling functions. Additionally, the platform is yet to add benefits management tools.
CharlieHR is available from £4 per employee per month, with support offered by email, live chat, or scheduled call.
